The 17th annual Taste of the North End is set for Friday, May 6th and this year they’re in cool, new digs. Get your Italian-food-loving friends to the DCR Steriti Memorial Ice Rink between 6:00 and 8:00pm to taste test bits from more than twenty five of the North End’s best restaurants. Taking the ice: spots like Aragosta, Cantina-Italiana, Ristorante Damiano, Fiore, Lucca and Taranta, for starters. There’ll be live music, and plenty of beer and wine. Tickets cost $99 each. Proceeds support the North End Community Health Center, as well as the schools and recreation centers of the North End providing services to children and senior citizens.
