On Friday, January 4th, chef Colin Lynch debuts No Relation, a teeny, tiny, secret sushi counter within his brand new South End tiki bar, Shore Leave.
The nine-seat mini restaurant (just 230 square feet!), is located down a mural-lined hallway featuring art by Brooklyn’s Massimo Mongiardo (who worked with Lynch and co. back in the day at The Butcher Shop). The minimalist dining room features a white cypress sushi counter, a vivid, hand-painted cherry blossom design adorns the floor, while a magnetized world map will highlight the areas from which the menu’s fishes are being sourced.
No Relation will welcome guests at two seatings (6:00 and 8:30pm) Tuesday through Saturday evenings, for a fourteen-course (give or take) omakase menu, priced somewhere in the neighborhood of $95-120 per person (not including tax and gratuity). There’ll be a limited wine and sake list and optional beverage pairings, which will pull from whole range of boozes (wine and sake, of course, but also beer, cocktails and/or spirits), will be available for an additional $60 per person.
Reservations are available online through the ticketing website Tock. Have a peek at a sample menu below and book your spot.
