Veuve Clicquot Dinner at Spire

Chef Gabriel Frasca welcomes Veuve Clicquot’s Remi Fritsch-Fontanges for a sparkling wine dinner at Spire on Tuesday, November 9th. A pre-dinner reception, starting at 6:30pm, features hors d’oeuvres like Nantucket Bay scallop bloody Mary’s; Maine crab cakes with spicy aioli; foie gras mousse on brioche; and duck confit with “mimosa” jelly. Dinner, which starts at 7:00pm, will consist of five courses paired with some of Veuve Clicquot’s finest. Menu items include wild sturgeon with crème fraiche, the finest ossetra and spinach; tenderloin of Vermont veal-porcini, heirloom apples, rosemary, serrano ham and fig; and chilled champagne and hibiscus soup with milk cake, gooseberries and sheepsmilk yogurt sorbet.
