Albert “Prodigy” Johnson – musician and author of Commissary Kitchen: My Infamous Prison Cookbook – comes to Harvard University’s Hiphop Archive Research Institute for a culinary panel. Johnson will be joined by co-author Kathy Iandoli, the Archive’s director Marcyliena Morgan and chef Jody Adams to discuss healthy eating with limited resources, the importance of proper nutrition to physical and mental health, and the role food plays in culture. The talk takes place Monday, October 24th from 4:00-6:00pm with first-come, first-served admission, limited to 90 guests, and the Harvard COOP will host a post-panel book-signing at 7:00pm so swing by whichever one suits your schedule.
