This February you can skip the traditional hallmark holiday and celebrate with the ladies in your life who really matter. It’s Galentine’s Day at Ledger Restaurant in Salem, and they want to help you treat yo’ self. Inspired by the unrivaled Leslie Knope of Parks & Rec (if you haven’t seen it, you should), Galentine’s is a holiday for women, by women, and having something to do with waffles.

The Ledger team has created a special menu on Saturday, February 10th featuring Parks & Rec-themed cocktails, waffles, and lots of whipped cream. From 7:30 to 10:30pm, you and your favorite gal pals will be treated to a live DJ, a complimentary specialty cocktail (plus cash bar), brunch-inspired passed apps and buffet, and an RBF photo booth. There will be a raffle for Treat Yo’ Self prizes, with proceeds benefitting Healing Abuse Working for Change, a North Shore nonprofit helping victims of domestic violence and abuse.
