Fully Committed to Les Dames d’Escoffier

Actor John McGivern will assume the roles of more than thirty characters once again in playwright Becky Mode’s “Fully Committed,” the one-man, comedic gem of a play about life on both ends of the reservation line in a New York five-star restaurant. On Sunday, March 28th, McGivern takes center stage as Sam Peliczowski, an out-of-work actor, who juggles scheming socialites, name-dropping wannabes, fickle celebrities and egomaniacal bosses in this farce about a day at the hottest dining destination in town. The one-time showing will benefit Les Dames d’ Escoffier, a leadership culinary organization composed of women who have achieved success in their profession and contributed significantly to their communities. Caterers like La Fete Catering, Tables of Content, Capers Catering, Culinary Design Group and Gourmet Caterers will donate their time and talent for a food and wine reception starting at 3:30pm at the Copley Theater. The curtain goes up at 5:00pm. Dessert and coffee will follow the play. Proceeds benefit Culinary Scholarships, Kids Can Cook and the Food Tickets cost $75 per person and can be purchased through Ticketmaster at 617.931.2000 or.
