Whether you’re already a fan of the bright green beverage or looking for an introduction, make a beeline for South Boston on Thursday, January 14th for Chartreuse Night at the Franklin Southie. From 8:00pm on, the bar folk (with some invaluable input from the DrinkBoston peeps) will be pouring classic and original Chartreuse cocktails ($6) and Chartreuse V.E.P. shots ($7). Starting around 9:00pm, chef Brian Reyelt will be serving bar snacks ($5). Channeling the charitable spirit of the monks for which this spirit is named, the Franklin team invites guests to bring a canned food item to be donated to the Greater Boston Food Bank. Guests who do so will be entered to win a special gift from Chartreuse.
