Beantown finally has a festival befitting of the moniker with this year’s first annual Beantown Beanfest on Saturday, June 24th from 11:00am to 5:00pm at the Rose Kennedy Greenway. Get ready for a leguminous good time that will feature bean-heavy dishes from all around the world from succotash to cassoulet from some of your favorite chefs, restaurants and food trucks including Estella, Fattoush, Flavor Boom, El Colombiano Coffee, Suenos Heirloom Chocolate, Tacos Calleteco, Vaz and Mac and more. In addition to all the eats there’ll be live music and entertainment, bean-themed games, vendors and products.
Entry to the event is free and open to the public, and it’s all organized by The New England Legal Foundation, which is a nonprofit public interest legal organization that supports underrepresented entrepreneurs who need free corporate legal assistance to help them develop their new companies.
