East Coast Grill Praises the Braise

You’ll have to wait to get your East Coast Grill fix – the Inman Square eatery is closed for renovations until December 1st – but mark your calendars for Monday, December 5th when they host a wintry dinner In Praise of the Braise. The a la carte menu will whet your appetite for a winter’s worth of hearty braised goodness from chef Chris Schlesinger and his team including stout-braised oxtail soup with turnips, olives and sage; and Bavarian-style braised pork shank with spaetzel, red cabbage and caraway. They’ve picked some specialty brews from Smuttynose that they think pair particularly well.
