On Saturday, October 16th get ready to indulge your sweet tooth when The Cambridge Housing Assistance Fund (CHAF) hosts Home Sweet Home, an event to benefit those who are, and are in danger of becoming, homeless. From 7:00 to 11:00pm in the Hyatt Regency Cambridge’s President’s Ballroom, dessert fiends can sample an assortment of sweet goodies from area restaurants like Aura, Bergamot, The Fireplace, Finale, Harvest and Henrietta’s Table as their respective pastry chefs, bakers and chocolatiers compete for the night’s coveted Yummy Awards. The Love Dogs will be providing live music (so that you can dance off some of those well-worth-it-calories) while TV Diner‘s Billy Costa will be taking on the evening’s emcee duties.
