Where there’s smoke, there’s BBQ—at least when chef Andy Husbands is involved. As a preview of The Smoke Shop, his forthcoming Cambridge restaurant, Husbands is pairing up with Women Who Whiskey for a barbecue- and brown liquor-fueled evening. On Wednesday, April 20th, guests can gather at Sister Sorel (sister restaurant to Tremont 647) for a cooking demo and whiskey drinks, running from 6:00-8:30pm. The night kicks off with an appetizer reception that includes plates like spicy shrimp fresh rolls and carnitas on plantain chips. Things get smoky as the activities continue with a BBQ how-to and tasting from Husbands alongside a cocktail demo and sips of American whiskeys. See below for the eat and drink and snag a ticket, available for $63.24, online here.
