When Restaurant Week Boston and patio season overlap, there’s only one thing to do: grab a table outside. During the two-week prix fixe celebration, running from Saturday, August 1st through Saturday, August 15th, more than 100 restaurants will be serving special lunch and dinner menus — plenty of them on patios, rooftops and terraces made for soaking up the last stretch of summer.

Enjoy the patio and floor-to-ceiling accordion doors at new Peruvian hotspot Rosa y Marigold in Boston’s Back Bay, settle in for sweeping Charles River views on the back patio at Paperback Tavern inside the Hyatt Regency Cambridge or escape the city at Novara in Milton, where white canvas umbrellas shade the outdoor seating at the neighborhood favorite housed in a former movie theater.
