A longtime mainstay in the Back Bay, Grill 23 & Bar is celebrating their 40th birthday the best way possible: with their very own tribute ice cream flavor. The iconic steakhouse has partnered with their pals at JP Licks to create the Grill 23 Coconut Cake Ice Cream, which will be available at all 17 JP Licks stores for the rest of the summer. The famous cake, made by executive pastry chef Valerie Nin, is filled with coconut custard and served with pineapple sherbet and coconut dulce de leche, and the ice cream flavor is just as delightful with sweetened and toasted coconut and loaded with pieces of cake.
