We are seeking a talented and experienced Bartender to join our team and help elevate our beverage service to the next level.
Position Overview: As a Bartender at Bostonia Public House, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while crafting high-quality drinks in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to handle a high volume of orders while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor and adhering to all service standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure in a dynamic, team-oriented setting.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including craft cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits, according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and delivering beverages promptly and accurately.
- Ensure the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized at all times, maintaining inventory levels and reporting any shortages to management.
- Handle cash and credit transactions, accurately processing orders and making change as needed.
- Follow all company policies, including those related to alcohol service, safety, and cleanliness.
- Maintain a friendly, approachable, and professional attitude when interacting with guests and team members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar.
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, cocktail recipes, and current beverage trends.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with guests.
- Ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and cleanliness.
