Bourbon’s Kitchen & Cocktails – Since September 2016, it has been our mission to bring the city atmosphere to the metrowest suburbs. We are a lively neighborhood restaurant with a focus on well-crafted cocktails and creative comfort food.

Bourbon’s is looking for a highly motivated Assistant General Manager to join the team. The perfect candidate would have a love for food and drink and must
understand the importance of building relationships with both guests and team members. This is an incredible opportunity for an ambitious individual to have a meaningful impact on the continued success and growth of the restaurant. This position is being created with a growth path to General Manager.

Management Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

  • Embrace and embody our culture
  • Lead the front of house team and manage the nightly operations
  • Ensure steps of service and hospitality
  • Demonstrate positivity & enthusiasm with all guest and team members
  • Share knowledge with staff through daily briefings & training
  • Write weekly schedule for FOH team
  • Recruit, hire, train & coach new team members

Prior restaurant management experience is welcomed, but we are always willing to train the right candidate. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who shares our dedication to hospitality, our excitement for food & cocktails, and our respect for those who work alongside us.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience working in hospitality
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, ever-changing work environment
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Be positive, joyful, upbeat, and have an energetic attitude – lead by example

Schedule:  Tuesday through Saturday

Employment Type(s): Full Time
Base Pay: $65,000-$75,000 (with health insurance and paid time off)/year
