Tasting & Bar Takeover

Georgie's Wine Shop & Bar

Mark your calendars and join the crew at Georgie’s Wine Shop & Bar on Wednesday, June 7th as they welcome Oregon winemaker Travis Todd of De La Boue Wines for an exclusive bar takeover and tasting event. Grab a ticket and spend the evening (from 5:00 to 7:30pm) tasting and learning about these extraordinary limited-production (fewer than 500 cases!) Pacific Northwest wines.

De La Boue, which translates to “of the dirt” in French, embodies a longing for simpler times – a reminder that wine is ultimately a product of the earth. The driving force behind De La Boue, Todd began his journey in the wine industry at the Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana before he and his wife Tess made Oregon their home in 2017. In 2019, as he worked his way from cellar hand to head winemaker at one of Oregon’s largest wineries, he started De La Boue as a passion project, initially producing a mere 150 cases. Since then, it has evolved into a full-time venture with a five-acre organic vineyard. His extremely limited wines are only available in select states across the country, which makes this tasting event a truly rare opportunity.

Don’t miss your chance to be captivated by Todd’s passion and expertise as you savor the fruits of his labor. Your $65 ticket includes a flight of six pours accompanied by a selection of delectable small bites to complement the tasting experience. Snag your spot asap and embark on a remarkable wine journey that will leave a lasting impression.
