World Cup Cocktails

Cambridge-based soccer fans won’t have to hunt for a seat at kickoff this summer: from Thursday, June 11th through Sunday, July 19th, The Charles Hotel is transforming its lobby into a full-on fan zone complete with live match screenings, foosball tables, stadium-style seating and soccer-inspired cocktails from the team at Noir.

The immersive setup will feature a full-size goal installation, turf-topped tables and plenty of space to settle in for every match of the tournament. Drop by for a single game or make it your WC headquarters from opening day through the final – the month-long activation aims to bring a bit of stadium energy to Harvard Square.

Between matches, you can pop in to Noir to calm your nerves with cocktails made in honor of participating countries including Spain, which was the inspiration for La Roja, made with Red wine, raspberry and toronja and Los Charrúas, a sippable tribute Uruguay made with mate, gin, sherry and olive.
