Here’s a fun (and sweet!) something to do: learn to make lemon meringue cupcakes with the peeps from Flour Bakery + Cafe. On Sunday, April 7th, Joanne Chang’s team of seasoned pastry professionals will be hosting a hands-on baking class at their breadquarters in the Seaport. Reserve a spot and make a beeline for the Innovation and Design Building (Drydock Avenue) for an 11:00am start. The pros will walk you through the steps (demo-style) of mixing and baking the batter, then you’ll get to roll up your sleeves for the DIY portion which includes lemon curd and meringue making as well as cupcake filling and topping. The class, which is limited to ten participants (so you’ll have time and space to ask all your confectionery Qs), costs $150 per person.
