Sofra

If your brunch repertoire could use a revamp, get excited for Sofra’s next cooking class: An Eggs-ellent Brunch, scheduled for Thursday, February 1st from 6:00-8:30pm. Pastry Chef Maura Kilpatrick and Chef de Cuisine Pri Paige (who are both big fans of the whole breakfast-meets-lunch mash-up) will share their expertise (and the recipes) for some of their go-to sweets and savories for a well balanced midday menu that incorporate whole grains, veggies and top tier ingredients.

You’ll learn the ins and outs of dishes like asure, a rice pudding-like dish with lots of nuts, dried fruits, and whole grains; bazlama, a Turkish flatbread; menemen, Turkish-style scrambled egg with tomato and peppers; and borekfast, their breakfast borek with cheese, bacon, and caramelized onions.

It’s a demo-style class so they’ll be doing all the baking and cooking while you relax and snack (and learn, of course). Snag your ticket(s) online here for $135 each and let these two pros show you how to up your brunch game.
