Sofra, a casual cafe, bakery and specialty food shop, is the second endeavor from the award-winning Oleana Restaurant Group. Established in 2008 by Executive Chef Ana Sortun, and business partner and Executive Pastry Chef Maura Kilpatrick, the petit café and shop brings the sweet and savory tastes of Turkey, Lebanon and Greece to Cambridge.
True to its name - a Turkish word that means a picnic, a special table preparation of food or a small square kilim rug for eating - Sofra is an inviting space that transports guests to another place. It’s open for breakfast, lunch and early dinner, serving an array of meze, staffed flatbreads and shawarmas alongside breakfast pastries and sweets for all appetites and occasions.
