Batifol, in Cambridge’s bustling Kendall Square, serves up tons of authentic French fare and all the Parisian vibes just like their beloved older sibling, Petit Robert Bistro, in the South End.

The adorable dining room channels a classic brasserie, with sleek white tabletops and subway tiles spelling out the restaurant’s name (which means “to frolic about” in French), bentwood chairs, dark wood flooring and cool turquoise banquettes. There's plenty of space for larger groups as well as intimate tables for two and stools in front of the taps at the lively bar.

The menu is all about classic French cuisine, and you’ll find plenty of old favorites amongst the hors d'oeuvres, salades, and entreés, plus you can add some accompagnements to round out your feast. If you’re thirsty, sip your way through the selection of mostly French wines by the glass or choose from the list of local and imported brews, plus there is a rotating selection of signature cocktails that are perfect for toasting.
