If you hopped on the #newyearnewme train, but find those new year’s resolutions slipping a bit, Yellow Door Taqueria and The Salty Pig have got your back with booze-free beverages and vegan/vegetarian eats to bolster your resolve for Dry January or Veganuary.

Head to Back Bay for The Salty Pig’s new mocktails, Sparkling Rosemary Limeade made with rosemary syrup, lime juice, soda water, garnished with rosemary and lime twist, and the  Cranberry Sparkler made with cranberry cinnamon shrub, lime juice, ginger beer, garnished with candied ginger to spice up your winter nights and give you a taste of fresh, aromatic sips to patch with their antipasti and housemade pastas.

And team at Yellow Door Taqueria have added an assortment of vegan offerings to the menu including the mushroom carnitas taco with shredded mushrooms topped with candied anaheim peppers, roasted cipollini onions and Mexicali chile salsa, and charred broccoli taco (with crispy chili-spiced chickpeas, romesco, cashew coconut crema, fresh fresno chili), along with some tasty vegetarian dishes like their street corn nachos. They also have some zero-proof swills like the Lemon & Sage Cordial (lemon zest, sage, lemon juice, sugar, Topo Chico, lime,) and Burnt Orange & Cranberry Mocktail (orange zest, cane sugar, ginger, orange juice, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, cardamom, cranberries). Find these goodies at both Lower Mills and South End locations.
