Now that there’s a hint of spring in the air (just don’t look at the forecast), it’s time to sharpen your skills for the upcoming grilling season – luckily, you can learn from an expert at The Great Grilling Class with The Smoke Shop’s Andy Husbands. On Saturday, April 6th the award-winning pitmaster, cookbook author and chef/restaurateur will be sharing his expertise with fellow fans of outdoor cooking at an afternoon tutorial at the Somerville location of his super popular bbq joint.

Grab your ticket and get out to Assembly Row by 11:30am to learn the ins and outs of charcoal and hardwood grills – Husbands will show you the tools, tips and tricks of a master griller, including how to make the Perfect Classic Burger, Grilled Shrimp Cocktail and Two Zone Roasted Chicken. There’ll also be a Wild Turkey whiskey tasting and cocktail demonstration courtesy of Beam Suntory’s Patrick Gaggiano and you’ll get to take home a packet of recipes to try at home.
