You can’t be a serious wine drinker these days without knowing a thing or two about orange wines, so if it’s time to brush up on your tasting and vocab head to Forage on Tuesday, February 13th for a dinner focusing exclusively on these amber-colored styles. Chef Eric Cooper and wine guru Stan Hilbert have some extra fun pairings planned this week, including Fennel Seed Rubbed Pork Loin with Spiced Rice and Golden Frills Mustard Greens matched with 2021 Loureiro “Phaunus”, Aphros, Portugal; and Bayley Hazen Blue Cheese with Orange Supremes, Chocolate Sauce and Alycia’s Milk Bread paired with 2017 Guarnaccia… “Danfora”, Maradei, Calabria (take a look at the whole menu below).

Choose your own dinner adventure, either by grabbing a reservation to dine in here between 5:00 and 8:45pm (dinner costs $110 per person). Or you can take everything to go for two people for $160 by ordering here. Every wine on the special menu will also be available to take home at retail prices, so take note of what you like as you’re tasting away. And be sure to ask Hilbert about Forage’s upcoming sister restaurant in Dedham, Few & Far, which is set to open sometime in May.
