June Cooking Classes at Pagu


Sign up for summer school at Pagu, where James Beard Award semi-finalist chef Tracy Chang and her team have unveiled their June schedule of culinary tutorials – with some fun new additions – so you can while away a Saturday or Sunday afternoon honing your kitchen skills.

If you haven’t already already taken a class on Sushi, Noodles, Dim Sum or Tapas, those are still available but there are new topics to explore including Kombucha (taught by Chang and guest chef Curro Polo of the Basque Culinary Center who’s currently studying kombucha and fermentation at Harvard); Pizza (in collaboration with Ooni Pizza Oven – attendees will get a discount code for 10% off); Spanish Cheesecake (with David Cordobes from Alex Cordobés One of Madrid’s top cheesecake shops); and, a perfect Father’s Day treat, a special Grilling Class (sponsored by The Bincho Grill, this one will take place outside, weather permitting).

Check out the schedule below to see what’s in store and click through online here to reserve your seat. Classes are generally held from 12:00-2:00pm (unless otherwise noted) and cost $119 per person. Each session is capped at 15 students per class so you’ll have plenty of face time with Chang to ask questions, and you don’t need any prior cooking experience to attend. And of course, there’ll be plenty of good eats to try and take home.
