It just so happens that this festive time of year is also peak Barolo season, and you can gift yourself with a splash or two on Sunday, December 17th at Dear Annie. The adorable natural wine bar in Cambridge is going to be opening some special bottles from Canonica and Gea and serving them up by the glass (BTG) all night, including half pours, which is a great chance to try some stellar vintages without breaking the bank. Even better, you’ll have a few dollars left over to spring for some house-made tortellini from chef Andrew Brady, which will be adorned with truffles from The Mushroom Shop in Somerville. The sipping and noshing starts at 4:00pm, so plan to get there earlier rather than later if you’re hungry because they’re only serving the tortellini until it runs out.
