Ciao to Eataly’s Summertime Piazza

Eataly Boston

Say arrivederci! to hibernation and ciao! to a whole summer’s worth of al fresco fun and food (and drinks, too) on Il Patio di Eataly, which opens for the season on Friday, May, 7th.

They’ve added a new Rossopomodoro outdoor pizza oven to the mix this year so you can dine all’aperto (that’s Italian for outdoors), sitting down to classics like Margherita Verace and spring specials like the Piselli e Pancetta topped with spring pes, mozzarella di bufala, pancetta, and Pecorino Romano. Or graze on salumi and formaggi boards accompanied by selections from the beverage menu, which features innovative Italian cocktails like Menta Daiquiri (made with Branca Menta, Flor de Cana Rum, passionfruit, and lime) and their take on the classic Negroni, Negroni Sbagliato (made with Campari, sweet vermouth and prosecco).

Each weekend there’ll be outdoor pop-ups with local partners like Bow Market’s Rococo Flowers, Back Bay’s Trident Booksellers & Cafe, as well as local artists like Lettering by Liz. And don’t forget their weekly drink specials, with cider Mondays, Pallini Limoncello Tuesdays, Wine Wednesdays and Spritzata Thursdays — you’ll need to mark your calendar and try something new each week. Book your table today and start enjoying the season the Italian way.
