On Wednesday, June 9th, head to first annual Washington Square Summer Block Party for some pre-summer fun. The Fireplace welcomes guests to their back lot for a special outdoor fundraiser for the Brookline Fire Department. The evening, which begins at 6:30pm, will feature grilled favorites like hamburgers, BBQ chicken and swordfish kabobs as well a live auction and live music from one of Boston’s best Latin Caribbean bands, Grupo Fantasia. At 9:30pm, the festivities move indoors where Irie Roots takes the stage. Tickets are available at the door for $20 per adult and $10 for children 15 and under.
