Saint’s Celebrity Chef Series continues in August when executive chef Rene Michelena swings open his kitchen doors to the country’s top dog chefs. Chef Andrew Chase of The Mark, Mandarin Oriental’s signature hotel on the Upper East Side, will take Rene up on his lounge dining challenge on Monday, August 11th. Starting at 7:00pm, Chase and local chefs Thomas John of Mantra, Marc Orfaly of Pigalle, Michael Leviton of Lumiere and Joanne Change of Flour will be putting their heads together to create the seven-course tasting featuring specialties from all six chefs. Dinner will be accompanied by select wines and champagnes. The price tag on the evening is $75.00 per person – a bargain for this year’s Improper Bostonian’s Most Underappreciated Food in Boston.
