The 2006 Taste of the South End, scheduled for Tuesday, March 14th at the Cyclorama, brings together more than 40 restaurants for a special evening of food, wine and fun to benefit the AIDS Action Committee, New England’s oldest and largest AIDS organization. The annual event, now in its 11th year, features food from restaurants like 33 Restaurant & Lounge, Aquitaine, The Dish, Finale, Firefly, Flash’s, Flour Bakery + Café, Hamersley’s Bistro, Laurel, Masa, Mistral, Prairie Star, Restaurant 209, Rouge, Skipjack’s, South End Formaggio, Tremont 647, Turner Fisheries, Union and Whole Foods Market. Tickets cost $100 if purchased in advance and $125 if purchased at the door. Last year’s event sold out, so buy your tickets early by going to www.aac.org/taste.
