More than twenty-five of Somerville’s restaurants are gathering at the 2003 Taste of Somerville on Friday, October 3rd. The evening, which gets under way at 7:00pm, is a collaboration between HomeFirst Charitable Corp, an umbrella organization that raises funds for Somerville-based charities, and the Somerville Chamber of Commerce. Restaurants like Amelia’s Kitchen, the Burren, Redbones, Evoo, Neighborhood Restaurant and The Independent donate their services and samples of their most popular foods for the event. Tickets cost $25 in advance or $30 at the door. The event has sold out in the past, so advance ticket purchase is recommended. Call 617.776.4100.
