Whiskey aficionados and fans of southern eats are invited to come together to form a supergroup at a special Whiskey Wednesday tasting at The Porch Southern Fare & Juke Joint on Wednesday, November 15th. Chefs Jonathan Post and Andy Bradwin are putting on an epic 10-course, tapas-style tasting menu that’s going to be paired with pours of Proximo Spirits‘ Bushmills, Tin Cup, Pendleton, and Stranahan’s lines of whiskey, and whether you’re a seasoned expert or a curious whiskey newcomer it’s a great chance to try several different spirits side by side.
As you sip, swirl and munch you’ll also get a little extra learnin’ in with Proximo’s whiskey educator James Adams, who will be talking you through each dram and answering all your questions. The tasting runs from 6:30 to 8:30pm in the private dining room at the Medford hotspot; grab a ticket here for just $55 (plus a small fee), which is really a steal for all the food, whiskey, and educational info you’ll get.
