The folks that have brought you eight successful Nantucket Wine Festivals head to the Berkshires this August for the second annual Tanglewood Wine & Food Classic. The event, which is scheduled for Saturday, August 7th, from 12:00-4:00pm, blends great music, exceptional wines and outstanding food for an afternoon that’s a “summer dream for the discerning gastronomic pilgrim”. Situated in the Hawthorne Tent with its panoramic view of the Berkshire Hills, the Wine & Food Classic gives attendees the opportunity to sample wines from all over the world, rub shoulders with winemakers, and sample some truly inspired food from chefs like J. Bryce Whittlesey of Wheatleigh, Mark Allen of Le Soir Bistro, Peter Platt of Old Inn on the Green at Gedney Farm, Raymond Ost of Sandrine’s, Ian Just of Les Zygomates and All Kovalencik of Company of the Cauldron.
