The Navy Yard Bistro & Wine Bar in the Charlestown Navy Yard kicks off a summer-long series of weekly wine tastings on Monday, June 5th with a dinner focusing on the food and wines of Spain. With a fresh new take on wine dinners – this isn’t your standard guest-speaker-focused, sit-down dinner – owner John Moore will be welcoming guests for an evening of food, wine, music and friends. Start the evening off with a glass of cava, explore the differences between new and old style riojas, and taste the concentrated fruit of tempranillos. Wines will be paired with an assortment of tapas from a full buffet. The evening’s festivities run from 6:30-9:30pm and cost $45 per person.
