Spring Wine Dinner at Julien

For the April installment of their Winter to Summer Wine Dinners, the Langham Hotel will be touring some of Italy’s best known and most beloved wines, straight from the heart of Tuscany. On Thursday, April 27th chef Mark Sapienza creates a four course menu at Julien to be paired with the wines of Ruffino Winery. On the menu for the evening: peppered yellowfin tuna with tomato and basil panzanella; crisp veal sweetbreads over red wine and fennel risotto; herb grilled lamb rib and loin chop with borlotti beans, garlic crema and spring vegetable tian; and warm almond financier torte with sweet wine poached raisins, honey muscovado ice cream and orange.
