On Sunday, September 18th chef-owner Andy Husbands will be hosting the South End Community Hurricane Relief Benefit from 4:00-9:00pm at Rouge. He welcomes guest chefs Marc Orfaly of Pigalle, Jamie Bissonnette of Eastern Standard, Gabriel Frasca of Spire, Jason Santos of Gargoyles, Ed Doyle and Tremont 647’s own Owen Tilley, each of whom will be serving a special passed hors d’oeuvres throughout the evening. Chefs from Cambridge’s Oleana and Craigie Street Bistrot will also be on hand, offering up some tasty snacks and Harpoon Brewery has generously donated their delicious, hand-crafted beer. Husbands himself will be serving up a New Orleans-style buffet dinner beginning at 5:30pm. The suggested donation for tickets is $50-$100. Proceeds for this event will go directly to the American Red Cross and to Share Our Strength’s Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund. Call Rouge at 617.867.0600 to purchase tickets.
