Slow Food and EVOO join forces on Monday, October 27th to co-host an autumn wine dinner benefiting the Federation of Massachusetts Farmers Markets. Chef Peter McCarthy has designed a super-seasonal five-course menu for the evening. Just to give you an idea of what to expect – some of the menu items for the evening: a beet, Granny Smith apple, hazelnut and smoked bacon salad with Great Hill blue cheese and crisp fried parsley; creamed parsnip soup with garlic crouton and a spiced pumpkin pot de crème with maple-walnut semifreddo.
