If you want to stay on the cutting edge of wine tasting, book a spot at Forage on Tuesday, April 2nd and explore the winemaking traditions of Slovenia. The central European country is the latest darling of the wine-drinking set, but it’s actually been producing wine for thousands of years — it’s just taken this long for the rest of the world to catch up. Take a look at this week’s menu below, which is packed with authentic ingredients and plenty of chef Eric Cooper’s eclectic eats like Slovenian Jota with Pork Sausage with Sauerkraut, Beans, Potatoes and Toast Slab paired with 2020 Cab Franc/Merlot/Barbera “Retro Red,” Guerilla.
Snag a reservation here to dine in at the Cambridge dining room between 5:00 and 8:45pm. Dinner costs $110 per person, which includes all your food and wine. If it’s more of a couch kinda night you can still get in on the fun by ordering your Slovenian feast to go here for $160 (serves two people).
