Top women chefs from around the country convene at Sakonnet Vineyards on Sunday, June 25th for Sakonnet Salutes the Summer: A Tempting Fete, presented by Women Chefs & Restaurateurs. Boston-based chefs Laura Brennan of Caffe Umbra, Lee Napoli of Sandrine’s, Molly Hanson of Excelsior and Grill 23 & Bar, and Rachel Klein of OM Restaurant | Lounge head down to Little Compton, Rhode Island to join host chef Maureen Pothier of Johnson & Wales in Providence as well as chefs like Angie Armenise of Twist in Providence, Anne Quatrano of Bacchanalia and Floataway Café in Atlanta, Chris Keff and Angie Roberts of Flying Fish in Seattle and Helene Kennan of Bon Appetit at the Getty Center in Los Angeles, among others. The afternoon’s festivities, which run from 1:30-4:30pm, will feature a silent auction and classic outdoor dining fare with stations set on lawn of the Sakonnet house.
