Roundtable AAPI Dinner

PAGU Instagram

Celebrate AAPI Awareness Month with chef Tracy Chang and the PAGU crew at the next installment of their new Roundtable series on Thursday, May 18th. Roundtable x inKind AAPI will feature a stellar lineup of area chefs to discuss the, “unapologetic Asian American experience,” including tropes like the model minority and stinky lunch to feelings of nostalgia and hopes for the future. Chang created the series to bridge the gap between local organizations and locals to create actionable discussion about social justice and mutual aid — plus it’s a chance to try lot of great food.

This month’s gathering will feature (in addition to Chang), Jason Doo of Wusong Road, Laurence Louie of Rubato, Alex Nystedt of Hot Chix, Ted Woo of Mimi’s Chuka Diner, and KT Cheung formerly of Cloud & Spirits. Tickets are $99 per person for dinner only, or $145 for dinner with beverage pairings, and you can snag yours here. Dinner kicks off at 5:30 at PAGU in Cambridge (310 Mass. Ave.) with a reception of passed appetizers, followed by a seated family-style dinner and discussion. In addition to the lively conversation, you can also feel good about giving back to the community as a portion of the proceeds will be donated to local organizations including Project Restore Us. If you have any Qs, reach out to the restaurant at 617.945.9290, and be sure to keep an eye on PAGU’s IG for updates on the next Roundtable.
