Peter Davis Heads to the James Beard House

Chef Peter Davis heads to New York on Saturday, September 11th, bringing the “fresh and honest” cuisine he’s become famous for a Henrietta’s Table to the James Beard House. Dinner, which starts at 7:00pm with passed hors d’oeuvres like venison sausage with roasted garlic and onion jam; organic beef tartare and lobster salad with summer truffles, costs $90 for members and $115 for guests. Diners can expect courses like wild king salmon with Nesenkeag Farm lettuce and lemon-herb vinaigrette; Sherwood Forrest Maple Stout-braised short ribs with potato and celery root gratin; and chocolate bread pudding with caramelized bananas and housemade vanilla bean ice cream.
