The Oak Bar at the Fairmont Copley Plaza hosts an intimate reception with Bill Russell, winemaker at Westport Rivers Winery on Monday, October 24th. Swing by at 5:00pm to be one of a limited number of guests to enjoy a discussion of the 2005 harvest and a tasting of four different sparkling wines including the Fairmont Cuvee. The reception is designed to be conversational and allow all guests personal access to the winemaker. The tasting, which costs $30 per person, will feature the 2001 Brut Cuvee RJR, the 1997 Blanc de Blancs and the 1999 Blanc de Noirs, as well as the Fairmont Cuvee, created exclusively by Westport Rivers for the Fairmont Copley Plaza. To complement the wines Jeremy Langemann, Oak Room chef, will prepare a selection of passed hors d’ouevres.
