Noche Española a Chiara

Westwood newcomer, Chiara, explores the food and wine of Spain in its first wine dinner on Tuesday, March 14th. The five-course dinner features some hidden gems from the world’s third largest wine producer, as paired with Spanish-inspired dishes from chefs Steve LaCount and Joe Rocco. The festivities begin at 6:30pm with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres followed by a family-style dinner at 7:00. Courses include steamed baby clams and mussels with chorizo; seared tuna loin with manzanilla olive butter and capers with saffron Arborio rice; pork stuffed chicken roulades wrapped in serrano ham and tres picos sauce; and roast loin of lamb with wild mushrooms and tomato fondue with potato, caramelized onion, and cabrales blue cheese. LaCount and Rocco top it all off with desserts like almond infused caramel flan with candied almonds; and fresh strawberries and oranges and Alvear sabayon. Representatives from the Boston Wine Company will be on hand to lead guests in a discussion about the country’s most important wine regions and wineries. The dinner costs $75 per person not including tax or gratuity. Call Chiara at 781.461.8118 for reservations.
