Chef Daniel Bruce, welcomes guests to enjoy the fruits (or the fungi, as the case may be) of his foraging efforts at a Mushroom & Burgundy Dinner at Meritage on Monday, September 19th. The five-course dinner will feature gourmet mushrooms, foraged by Bruce himself (from his top secret location). Keep an eye out for puffball, porcini, chicken, lobster and hen of the woods mushrooms along with other seasonal surprises. Each course will be matched with a different burgundy chosen to complement the complex flavor of each mushroom. The dinner, which starts with a reception at 6:30pm, costs $150 per person.
