Make the Fairmont Copley Plaza your Boston Marathon food and drink headquarters this year. Even if you’re not staying at the iconic Back Bay Hotel, you can swing by Oak Long Bar + Kitchen between Thursday, April 11th and Monday, April 15th to fuel up with specials from chef Zaid Khan including dishes like Short Rib Bolognese (with short rib ragu, pecorino, basil, pangrattato, ricotta salata and pappardelle) or the Fattoush Grain Bowl (quinoa with spiced chickpeas, kalamata, persian cucumber, beets, avocado, pignolias, fennel and charred lemon vinaigrette). Or drop by the bar and relax over drinks like the 26.2 Brew from Sam Adams or the Mile 27 (Samuel Adams 26.2 Brew with vodka, spiced pear liqueur, peach and lemon). Be sure to keep an eye out for Cori Copley, the hotel’s beloved Canine Ambassador, who’ll be welcoming runners and guests with a wag of her tail.
