Last Big Night of the Summer at Grotto

If you haven’t made it to one of chef Scott Herritt’s Big Night Dinners at Grotto, you’ve got another chance on Wednesday, July 26th. At 7:00pm, Herritt and his staff, decked out in 50’s evening wear (feel free to do the same), will be paying homage to the movie Big Night, which tells the story of two Italian brothers, who host an elaborate dinner for the legendary band leader Louis Prima in an effort to save their flailing Italian restaurant. Herritt will be recreating the menu from the movie’s big dinner scene – timpano, risotto, whole roasted pig and an assortment of freshly prepared vegetables. The dinner, the last Big Night Dinner of the summer, costs $45 per person or $65 if paired with wines. Reservations are required and spaces are limited, so call 617.227.3434 to save your seat.
