On Tuesday, August 5th, Bomboa puts on its party shoes for a slightly different kind of fund raisers. The benefit, which starts at 7:00pm, is for the recently opened Brookline Community Center for the Arts (BCCA) and for youth dance programs produced by JAM’NASTICS. Swing by early for a sampling of Bomboa’s take on a Mojito and light bites from chef Felino Samson. You’ll need some sustenance for the rest of the evening, during which you can stay for two performances by Latin dance troupe Salsa Encendida. Between performances you’ll have a chance to try some of your own moves or learn from the performers. DJ D. Martinez will spin a variety of Latin dance music to inspire fancy footwork on the dance floor. Tickets cost $30 per person.
