Chef Josh Ziskin of Brookline’s La Morra welcomes Icardi Wines of La Morra, Italy for a special wine tasting and dinner spectacular on Thursday, July 8th. Ziskin will be preparing a traditional, six-course Italian meal, pairing each course with a palate-pleasing wine from the Icardi vineyards. Diners can expect dishes like house-made tagliatelle with butter and sage; red wine risotto with bone marrow; and seared beef tenderloin with porcini mushroom and lemon. Claudio Icardi from La Morra will make his way from table to discuss the characteristics of the wines and to answer any questions. Ziskin will also come out of the kitchen to share some of his experiences hunting for truffles, making pasta and pressing wine in La Morra where he lived with his wife Jennifer.
