First Annual Supper Bowl

On Tuesday, January 31st – just five days before the big game – The Sports Museum and a roster of Patriots past host the inaugural Supper Bowl I: Five Courses of Football, Food & Fun at the TD Banknorth Garden. The evening, which gets underway at 6:00pm with a cocktail reception, features five full courses straight from the personal culinary repertoires of some of your favorite former New England Patriots players. Think: Gino Cappelletti’s Old-World Shrimp Scampi, Steve Nelson’s Luscious Lasagna, Andre Tippett’s New England Clam & Fish Chowdah and Tim Fox’s Bodacious Buckeye Ribs. Sean McDonough emcees the evening’s festivities with the help of Boston Herald food critic Kerry Byrne and celebrity chefs Rich Vellante from Legal Sea Foods and Jeff Fournier from The Metropolitan Club. Tickets for the event are $200 per person, $700 for a table of four or $1250 for a table of eight. To purchase tickets, call 617.624.1233.
