Edible Art 2004

Boston’s leading chefs and restaurants are gearing up for the 11th annual Edible Art to be held on Thursday, April 29th. This whimsical evening of artful feasting allows Boston’s premier chefs to demonstrate their creativity outside the kitchen ~ well, sort of. Chefs from restaurants like 29 Newbury, Azure, Bambara, Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro, Blackfin Chop House & Raw Bar, Bonfire, Chez Henri, Bricco, Henrietta’s Table, Icarus, Jer-ne, Julien, La Morra, Le Soir, Mistral, Radius, Rouge and Spire will unveil interpretations of their favorite works of art, through various food mediums. Guests can mingle with celebrity judges and M.C.’s for the evening, WBZ-TV 4 news anchors Lisa Hughes and Joe Shortsleeve, while enjoying vintage wines, music, and an exceptional silent auction and of course, provisions provided by participating restaurants. Proceeds from Edible Art benefit the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University’s nationally recognized scholarship program. Tickets cost $150 per person and can be purchased by calling 617.267.8862.
